(This song reminds me so much of Guam--it plays at every BBQ--but is so appropriate for this post.)
Let me just begin with how cool my Dad is. It was a long weekend because of Easter and Anzac Day-- which is Australia's equivalent to Veterans Day--just to catch you all up. So my Dad, the coolest cat around, surprised my Mom and I by taking us out to a vineyard of his choosing. Enter 'Port Phillip Estate'. It was one of the most stunning places I have ever seen: sweeping vineyards, architecture with the most beautiful lines, a fully serviced restaurant with a menu of pure decadence, and of course, the delightful variety of wine. I tried not to drool with my jaw on the pristine floor. Take a look for yourself but let me take a moment to say how grateful I am that I have this experience to do things like this. I swear my life isn't usually so exciting and fancy.
